This seminar will discuss:

- the architecture and main components of an Oracle database server
- what are the advantages of using this database server
- security issues (user priviledges)
- what is needed to connect to Oracle
- SQL (Structured Query Language) for manipulating data and preparing reports
- backup and recovery strategies
